Boutique law firm is seeking a 3 – 5-year Probate Paralegal with working knowledge of probate administration and the ability to handle a case from start to finish. Seeking someone experienced in estate planning and probate with knowledge of Federal Estate Tax Returns. Ideal candidate has a positive attitude is enthusiastic and servant minded when it comes to helping those who have just lost a loved one. Good benefits, paid parking and 401K. Salary DOE.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Working experience with 706 filings-Federal Estate Tax Returns and 709-Gift Tax Returns
- Working knowledge of Muniment of Title, standard probate and trust administration
- Draft and file pleadings
- Assist with distributions to beneficiaries
- Draft partition agreements, transfer deeds, family settlement agreements
- Communicate deadlines to family members and the courts
- Excellent WordPerfect, Word, BNA software for tax returns experience
